Blemmyes as crytpo messages: a de-hierarchized exercise of the body

Inspired by the Blemmy, a medieval figure who had their mouths and eyes in their chest, i will use my nipples as eyes and navel as mouths to research through dance on a European imaginary of otherness and speculate on the potency of a headless body. In a fantastical landscape that merges past and present fabulations, emotional bodies arise from the mud and the water.
